You can also be referred to us by the JobCentre Plus, a housing association, a local authority or a community organisation. We will always respond promptly and treat every enquiry with care and respect.
What support does Upturn offer to individuals?
We offer a wide range of people-centred support including one-to-one employment coaching, CV and interview preparation, skills training across a range of sectors, Community Champion transitional paid roles, access to training and education pathways, confidence-building support, and long-term follow-up to help you stay in work.
Is Upturn's support free for individuals?
Yes — all direct support for individuals through our funded programmes is free of charge. Where we offer fee-based services such as commercial HR consultancy, these are for employers and organisations only.
What sectors does Upturn help people into?
We have strong relationships and track records in health and social care, housing and construction, retail, food production, digital and technology, and education and training. We always work with employers who have real vacancies and genuine progression opportunities.
What does your services provide for its customers?
No. Many of our participants come to us with few or no qualifications. We design our support around the person — not a tick-box — and believe that everyone has potential worth unlocking.
